佐原の大祭・夏祭り〜300年以上の歴史と伝統〜

今週は「佐原の大祭・夏祭り」
いざ、佐原へ電車で向かいます。
到着したのは夕方くらい。
いつもより、人手が多いです。
お祭り気分にワクワク。
まずは喉を潤しましょう。
佐原に来たからには「小江戸ハイボール」
祭りに乾杯！
「佐原の大祭・夏祭り 2025」
江戸の面影を色濃く残す千葉県香取市・佐原の町並み。
その中心で毎年夏に開催される「佐原の大祭・夏祭り」は、豪華絢爛な山車が歴史的な街道を練り歩き、訪れる人々を江戸時代へと誘う関東屈指の伝統行事。
300年以上受け継がれてきた山車文化と、ユネスコ無形文化遺産にも登録された祭りの熱気。
夏は本宿地区で八坂神社の祇園祭として、10台の山車が町を巡る。
秋には新宿地区で諏訪神社の秋祭りとして、14台の山車が曳き廻される。
この祭りは、江戸時代から続く佐原の町並みと見事に調和し、訪れる人々に歴史の息吹を感じさせてくれる。
夕方から夜に向かう街並み。
ちょっと山車とともに歩いてみる。
伝わるかな？
町の熱気と祭りの雰囲気。
小野川沿いの街並みも風情。
人だかりも多いです。
盛り上がる街並み。
夜も完全に更けてきました。
シャトル舟にも乗れるんだ。
川沿いで激しく踊る豪快さと美しさ。
